Red Colombia en alianza con la C\u00e1mara de Comercio de Bogot\u00e1 se hizo entrega del premio de reconocimiento a BIOFIX BIC por Buenas Pr\u00e1cticas de Desarrollo Sostenible a trav\u00e9s del desarrollo del Proyecto YAAWI IIPANA REDD+, al destacarse como una pr\u00e1ctica innovadora y ejemplar en funci\u00f3n de los principios del Pacto Global, pues no solo promueve la protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente, sino que fomenta la participaci\u00f3n de comunidades locales en la toma de decisiones en el desarrollo de proyectos REDD+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"5201\" src=\"https:\/\/biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5201\" srcset=\"https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3-16x12.jpg 16w, https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/3.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" data-id=\"5202\" src=\"https:\/\/biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/5-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5202\" srcset=\"https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/5-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/5-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/5-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/5-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/5-16x12.jpg 16w, https:\/\/old.biofix.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/5.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>El proyecto YAAWI IIPANA REDD+<\/strong> tiene como fin evitar que se emitan a la atm\u00f3sfera <strong>29.642.371<\/strong> tCO2e a trav\u00e9s de la conservaci\u00f3n de 671.145 de hect\u00e1reas de bosque en el territorio del resguardo ind\u00edgena <strong>Morichal Viejo, Santa Rosa, Cerro Cocuy, Santa Cruz, Ca\u00f1o Danta y otros<\/strong> ubicado en el municipio El Retorno Guaviare, mitigando las amenazas que suponen los principales agentes y motores de deforestaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al ser postulado para recibir este reconocimiento, <strong>Biofix Bic<\/strong>, (desarrollador socio de estas comunidades), destac\u00f3 que el proyecto atiende a la meta 13 del objetivo Acci\u00f3n por el Clima de los ODS, ya que tiene como fin aumentar y conservar los sumideros de carbono para que los mismos puedan evitar que se emitan a la atm\u00f3sfera las concentraciones de CO2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As\u00ed mismo, a trav\u00e9s del desarrollo de este proyecto y la generaci\u00f3n y comercializaci\u00f3n de bonos de carbono, se proporciona un financiamiento clim\u00e1tico a las comunidades proponentes, permiti\u00e9ndoles ejecutar iniciativas de gesti\u00f3n forestal sostenible, productivas comunitarias, diversificaci\u00f3n de ingresos, negocios verdes, restauraci\u00f3n participativa y otras que generen un beneficio social y ambiental en el territorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este proyecto representa un hito en el desarrollo de proyectos REDD+,<strong> <\/strong>ya que est\u00e1 implementado bajo altos est\u00e1ndares de responsabilidad y \u00e9tica, entre otros, particularmente de salvaguardas, estableciendo as\u00ed, un precedente importante para futuros proyectos similares. Adicionalmente, el acompa\u00f1amiento de Biofix ha fortalecido t\u00e9cnicamente el resguardo, generando una mayor conciencia sobre la importancia de contar con un equipo profesional que ayude a gestionar el territorio de manera sostenible. Como resultado, se ha logrado una gesti\u00f3n eficiente de los recursos, que ha desembocado en subsidios para la educaci\u00f3n superior de los miembros de la comunidad, mejoras en infraestructura, desarrollo de sistemas productivos y fortalecimiento de la gobernanza y la cultura propia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este proyecto muestra un enfoque integral <strong>alineado con los desaf\u00edos globales actuales,<\/strong> siendo un ejemplo inspirador de c\u00f3mo la conservaci\u00f3n de los bosques puede generar beneficios ambientales, sociales y econ\u00f3micos a largo plazo, mejorando la calidad de vida de las comunidades involucradas, lo que lo hizo ganador de este reconocimiento internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
